Gerald R. Weeks
Gerald R. Weeks, is a psychologist, couple & sex therapist, and a professor in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has numerous publications, including over 20 books on individual, couple/sex, and family therapy. Dr. Weeks has 30 years of experience teaching and doing research and practice.
Dr. Weeks is a Clinical Fellow of the American association of Marriage & Family Therapy (see www.AAMFT.org). He is also a certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor of Sex Therapy (see www.AASECT.org). Finally, he is a Diplomate for the American Board of Family Psychology.
== Biography ==
Weeks is a native of North Carolina, but has lived throughout the country working at different universities. He was born in Morehead, NC and currently resides in Henderson, Nevada with his wife, Nancy.
He earned a Doctor of Philosophy in both Clinical Psychology and Family Studies in 1979 from Georgia State University. At Georgia State University, he studied with Luciano L'Abate who is the founder of the field of family psychology.
